J&C Ranch Featured in Progressive Cattle
Thanks to Progressive Cattle for running the interview with the mastermind behind our operation. It was a lot of fun, and look forward to staying in touch with them. Interview linked below (see page 17 of the magazine/19 of pdf): https://www.progressivepublish.com/digital-edition/pc/2022/09/mobile/index.html?doc=$docid
Named the new calf

J & C Patton
Friday, December 18th marked the last day of J & C Patton’s service at our ranch. He is heading to the Sandia Mountains to help a new rancher start a Highland fold. He was a great calf, and will be an excellent cornerstone to his future fold. Patton was our first calf, born in lateContinue reading “J & C Patton”
Winter Is Here
Winter brings a whole new set of things to do when it comes to raising cattle. Step 1 – Food. The grass goes from green to yellow/brown. While the grass is still forage, it doesn’t contain all of the nutrients required for cows to maintain their health. We ordered a few squeezes of hay thatContinue reading “Winter Is Here”
